The AIR Program is an Outreach program for youth and young adults from underserved communities in the District of Columbia with a focus on creative arts and music in conjunction with personal and professional development.

The AIR Program is built on the following 3 Core Principles:

  • Accountability,
  • Integrity,
  • Respect.

The AIR Program inspires and encourages youth and young adults to choose music and arts as deterrents from participating in violent and illegal activities.  The AIR Program provides safe spaces for youth and young adults to exercise freedom of speech and expression, learn conflict resolution and self-confidence skills, and create and record music with positive messages.

CCS is uniquely positioned to provide services to the targeted population given our previous experience delivering the AIR Program to youth in at-risk communities throughout the district.   We recently partnered with the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) to deliver our curriculum to numerous participants from June 2022 through June 2023.  The program resulted in two (2) participants being able to successfully produce and distribute single songs and music videos.
